I have 20+ years experience in many aspects of graphic design, advertising, marketing research and consulting, direct mail promotions, literature production, show displays, and print buying. Currently the owner of RP Designs and Creative Director on each project assigned by various clients in various industries. I have been the Art Director and Graphic Designer for the Destination Door County and Winter Guides for over 15 years. Presently I am an Art Consultant with Door County Pulse responsible for all ad designs for each issue of the Door County Living magazine and the Peninsula Pulse paper since 2006. Work experience includes BIC Special Markets Division in Clearwater, Florida and Distribution America in Des Plaines, IL. Job titles include Art Director, Marketing Director, Production Manager and Print Buyer. Management experience includes up to 35 employees as a Production Manager at a large marketing firm. This included working with various levels of management to cohesively create marketing strategies including design ideas while managing budgets.

Have a strong design background in various industries including retail, large to small corporations in the hardware retail, clothing, hotel/restaurant and numerous other types of businesses. I continue to work in the latest CS programs on a daily basis. Because I work independently, I meet with clients, advise the clients, and do the work including the design and any writing necessary to make the piece or prototype cohesive and presentable. I have also hired outside sources for larger projects including photographers, designers and writers.
